Glitch in displaying header text?

  • Hello!

    I just updated to the new Spun. Im wondering if anyone else is having a problem where their site title popping up on every page. I’ve unchecked the box in the Header tab that says “Show header text with your image.” But it won’t save that way, and the title stays no matter what. The box rechecks itself.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Amanda

  • I’ve removed this line of code from the header.php file in my child theme to remove the header text for now.

    <div class="site-branding">
    				<h1 class="site-title"><a href="<?php echo home_url( '/' ); ?>" title="<?php echo esc_attr( get_bloginfo( 'name', 'display' ) ); ?>" rel="home"><?php bloginfo( 'name' ); ?></a></h1>
    				<h2 class="site-description"><?php bloginfo( 'description' ); ?></h2>
    			</div>
