    Hey all,

I’ve just moved my wp installation on its own directory, but the site url is still the same, so when ppl type mysite.com they see the wp installation as if it was sitting on root.

    No problem so far.

My question is: are there any disadvantages doing so? with compatibility, upgrades, plugins and so on?

And, will there be any issues with SEO/google? when my files are in a subdirectory, but it looks like as if they were on the root.

    tnx
