    Greetings,

My products people were wondering if I would be able to provide FTP access to customers media files, and I’m just not sure how I can make it workable, because all files and folders are under the ownership of apache, and I’m struggling to think of a clean way of providing access for people, but just to their individual blogs content.

I was thinking maybe using nfs from another server, and using automount and some clever wizardry to make sure the permissions were ok.

Was just wondering if anyone else had approached this problem before, and how they tackled it.

    Cheers. Tom.

    Why do they need it?

They can just upload files via the media uploader.

If they upload files via ftp, there’s no way they can see those files in the admin area.
