Is this possible? Let’s say a paying subscriber has earned a free month or I want to give them one month credit, is there a way that I can do that? So if his card should be charged October 10th, I want it to charge his card November 10th, this is for an already paying subscriber.

Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro.

The basics of pausing a membership vary from site to site and depend on what payment gateway you are using. Paid Memberships Pro, for example, does not store the member’s payment information nor does your site trigger the recurring payments. When a subscription is set up at checkout, it is configured with the terms of the membership level and managed at the gateway.

We have directions for the most common gateways here:

I suggest reading through the entire post for other ideas and pitfalls.

I hope this helps to get you started.

    That worked perfectly.

Here are the steps for BrainTree Payments, click on Subscriptions > Addons/Discounts > New Discount (create free month here 1 billing cycle for amount normally charged) > Create > Subscriptions > Search > find the transaction then click Edit > under Discount click Add > check box with the discount that you just made > Save.
