giveaway products are not being added to cart

    i have a couple of coupons that giveaway a product.

    But now, when they are applied via URL, the giveaway product is not added to the cart.

    This is just recently, because it has been working since ever.

    I haven’t added no new plugin so far.

    We checked the coupon “AGREGA” that you shared, but it doesn’t exist in your site. Please see the attached screenshot.

    Please make sure that the coupon is active and valid before testing in front end.

    It does work, but only if i have something on the cart though.

    Hi @avagp,

    Yes, that is the intended workflow. By default, WooCommerce doesn’t allow applying a coupon if the cart is empty. So you can’t use the coupon URL to apply it without adding any product to the cart.

    If you want, you may check out our URL Coupons for WooCommerce plugin using which you can create custom URLs for coupons and apply them even on an empty cart. If you require further information about the URL Coupons plugin, kindly reach out to us through this link.
