Give user the ability to change their group in settings?

  • Reverted to 3.3.2 since the plugin is broken on 3.5.

    I want to make the check boxes available to all users (as oppose to the admin) so they can change their group.

    Since the author hasn’t been upgraded for a year I’ve tried jumping into the plugin.

    Found this in groupSelectionForm.php :

    <?php
    if (!$userAccessManager->getAccessHandler()->userIsAdmin($objectId)) {
        include 'groupSelectionForm.php';
    } else {
        echo TXT_UAM_ADMIN_HINT;
    }
    ?>

    I’m not a php expert so I was wondering if it were possible to amend this, or something else, to be available for all users regardless of their role?

    Any help appreciated, thank you.

    Thanks!
