Support » Plugin: WooCommerce Conversion Tracking » Give us Rating Banner will not go away

    Hello, I have been using the google ads conversion tracker and I noticed today I got a banner for “Hey, I noticed that you tracked more than 3 purchase conversions with the Google Ads Conversion Tracking plugin” I have clicked all three options and the banner will automatically show up on every Woocommerce related page no matter what I do. Can you please make this go away or I will be forced to remove the plugin. Thanks.

    Hello Aleksandar / @alekv,

    we see the same problem here. We tried clicking away the banner with current Firefox and current Chrome. Both didn’t work, although we find the following in the current changelog:

    1.7.3
    Fix: Prevent opening the rating page, when a user clicks on β€˜already did’

    Well, we click on “I already did” (of course we already gave you your 5 stars because of great support you did in another issue πŸ™‚ ), but it doesn’t work. After reloading the backend the banner is back again.

    Greetings,

    Sorry for the inconvenience. Maybe there is some error in the code that doesn’t let it be discarded. Looking into it.

    I just released a fix for it. Sorry again for the inconvenience.

    After updating the plugin you can click on “I already did” and it won’t show up again.

    @alekv the issue appears to be resolved by updating to version 1.7.4; I will update thread as resolved by “Updating to version >= 1.7.4”

    Thanks @doffine for reporting the issue!

    Ironically some code that I added in order to debug and test the plugin better, triggered that issue. Life of a developer, sometimes improvements bite me in the back.

    @alekv,

    thanks a lot! It’s working now as charm. It’s a pity that we cannot give you the 5 stars rating a second time ;-).
