How to give Editor access to Instagram Feed plugin? At the moment only Admin can access it.

    Thanks,
    Wanlapa

    Hey Wanlapa,

This will require editing the source code of the plugin. Try opening the instagram-feed-admin.php file and changing lines 8 and 16 from manage_options to:

    edit_posts

    Thanks,

    Craig

sorry @craig-at-smash-balloon, is this the only available solution?

any chance for an update to add a filter/option for it?

as tampering with the instagram-feed-admin.php file would inevitably get lost at the next plugin update…

    Sorry for the delay here!

After some internal discussion, we will support a filter that can be used to make a more permanent change for users that would like to allow editors to manage settings for the plugin. This will be included in version 1.12 along with a link to instructions.

Let me know if you have more questions in the meantime!

    fantastic!
    thanks @craig-at-smash-balloon!
