I’m trying to view shows that I’ve thrown in the trash, & am not able to find a link or option to do so in the admin controls.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @guitarguru186

    Thanks for reaching out!

When you move a gig to the trash it will not be visible in the list. You will also not find the usual ‘Trash’ filter like you can for regular posts and pages.

There is still a trash though and if you haven’t emptied it yet you will find it on the GigPress > Shows page just below the list, like this:
    https://dl.dropbox.com/s/llser4lhkxlb53g/shot_200427_222607.jpg

If you have clicked on the “Take out the trash now.” link before, then I’m afraid there is no way to recover the gigs any more.

I’ll check and see how they could be recovered.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hi @guitarguru186

I played around with it a bit and made a pull request. I don’t yet know when that is going to get added to the release. If you want the possibility of restoring deleted shows (works only for shows, doesn’t work for tours), then download this branch and upload / install it on your site:
    https://github.com/moderntribe/gigpress/tree/trash-handling

It is recommended to upload the files manually to the ‘plugins/gigpress’ folder.
And once the new release comes out, you will need to reinstall it again from .org. (Update will likely not be available b/c of the same version number.) You will not lose any shows, they will remain in your database.

Do remember to create a backup of your site before doing so, as I cannot guarantee that it will not mess up anything.

Hope it works out for you. Let me know.

    Cheers,
    Andras
