    Hi!

We have PW WooCommerce Gift Cards Pro as our gift card plugin. The problem is that when we use the gift card and enter checkout we get the error {“error_code”:”BAD_VALUE”,”error_messages”:[“Bad value: order_amount”],”correlation_id”:”d64c6831-9eb7-446b-9758-b6e0e2fd63d6″,”service_version”:”1.0.20200608103753″} Bad value: order_amount

    What could be the reason?

    Hi @oskariuotinen,
Sorry, but we are not compatible with PW WooCommerce Gift Cards yet.

However, we have plans to include support for it. This will probably be something we will work on during August.

    Hi,

Since there is no set standard for how Gift Cards work in WooCommerce this is handled different in each plugin.
Klarna requires each order line item and order total. Gift Card plugins generally add their info in their individual way, with the result that the gift card amount isn’t sent to Klarna.

Note: This is a known issue with the PW WooCommerce Gift Cards plugin, but generally also apply to other Gift Card plugins.

    We have documented this here:
    https://docs.krokedil.com/article/378-klarna-checkout-known-compatibility-issues#h-H2_1

We have now created support for Gift Cards for WooCommerce plugin: https://woocommerce.com/products/gift-cards/

I hope this gives you the info you need and hopefully a solution (if you try the Gift Cards plugin instead).

    Best regards
    Andreas

    Hi,

Using Klarna Checkout for WooCommerce v2.4.2.
Are there any other plugins for gift cards that support the Klarna Checkout plugin besides the one you mention (Gift Cards for WooCommerce)?

    Hello,

And thanks for your reply. Have tried both PW WooCommerce Gift Cards and YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards but get the following error message when I apply code for the gift card (both plugin).

    {“error_code”: “BAD_REQUEST”, “error_messages”: [“Bad format: order_lines”], “correlation_id”: “8c07175b-512f-43d9-a65f-ae17226349a0”, “service_version”: “1.0.20210126092749”} Bad format : order_lines

    Using:
    Wordpress 5.2
Klarna Checkout for WooCommerce 2.4.2 (Test Drive)

    Tried:
    PW WooCommerce Gift Cards 1,172
YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards 2.0.10 (free version)

Any idea what this might be?

    Hi @wisewebab

It looks like we found a solution for this error. There will be an update of the KCO plugin on monday that should solve this for you.

    Best regards

    Hi Andreas,

Thanks. I will update the KCO plugin and try again.

I will let you know how it went.

    Hi Andreas,

Updated Klarna Checkout for WooCommerce 2.4.3 (in Test Drive mode)
and PW WooCommerce Gift Cards to 1.174.

    Unfortunately the same error.
This is how the error occurs! I have a product in the shopping cart at a cost of 100 SEK. When I redeem a gift card of 100 SEK, WooCommerce shows that the cost is 0 SEK. The sum in Klarna Checkout still shows 100 SEK and when I try to complete the purchase, the error message is displayed.

    {“error_code”:”BAD_REQUEST”,”error_messages”:[“Bad format: order_lines”],”correlation_id”:”bbc9e2a4-3c4c-452c-b201-f47724786fd6″,”service_version”:”1.0.20210219094035″} Bad format: order_lines

    Any idea?

    Hi,

Are you using this snippet to handle 0:- orders in kco?
    https://docs.krokedil.com/article/143-klarna-checkout-hooks-action-filter#h-H2_6

Are you using Klarna Shipping Assistant plugin on your site and is that the latest version in that case?

    Best regards

    Hi,

    Thanks, now it works.

Added “Display Klarna Checkout even on free orders”.

    Thanks for help.
