It has been a while since the need to use a slide came up, but when I installed your awesome plugin everything was fine.

    I think I broke it…

However now the “pre” tag that wraps the carousel is extremely big and I don’t know why. At first I thought it could be conflicting with “add_theme_support( ‘post-thumbnail’ );” but even when disabling those codes it doesn’t affect it, also, changing image-size on Carousel’s settings still changes the image normally, the space however remains.

Doesn’t seem to be my CSS code either, at least chrome doesn’t point to anything that isn’t already on bootstrap files. I did, however find one thing. Disabling white-space: pre-wrap removes most of the white space on the top.

Sorry to bother you with such newbiesh problem, but I have no idea what is causing it as it was okay before. Thank you for the attention and for the plugin.

    Hi MuninMunin,

Any reason why you have the carousel inside <pre> and <code> tags? They have very specific formatting rules, so I’m pretty sure if you move the carousel out of those it will work normally.. They aren’t part of the plugin, so they will be coming from your theme or post / page.

Hey Phil, I found what it is causing it and… it is weird.

Apparently it is not the theme nor other plugins (I searched through all the files if there was something that wrapped with them). I wrote on the visual section of the post [image-carousel interval=”12000″] and on the text section it automatically formatted it to be wrapped on them.

It is (thankfully) easy to avoid as you can see, but this never happened before when I tested it.

Aha, I bet it’s because you pasted the shortcode from this website or something. The example code will be wrapped in <pre><code> on this website and could get carried over to the page editor.

    Glad you got it sorted!

Yeah, I was looking at the examples and doing some testings with it as I forgot some of them.

I guess that was it then XD Thank you and sorry to bother you ^^
