Once manually pushed from the basic version, the old staging site shows under the staging site list with “unfinished or broken” as status. What steps can be taken to either create a new staging site with the same name, but a new set of prefixes, or to remove this ghost entry from the sitelist?

Hello @radialyr

you will need to delete the site manually from the database table _options where the option_name is wpstg_existing_clones_beta.

Please note: This is a highly manual process so take care of what you change in the database.
