 * The Google API system has changed a lot, and the docs for this plugin are a bit
   outdated. However! WP Beginner has what looks to be a pretty good guide to getting
   your Google API set up:

 * (Note: we haven’t tested it ourselves, and this isn’t an endorsement, but others
