  • Hi Weka, Here are some instructions for you.

    (1) Download the Zip File via the orange/red download button.
    (2) Open the Zip file with WinRAR or a similar program. You will see a bunch of php files and three folders.
    (3) Connect to your server via a FTP program like FileZilla or access via your hosting control panel.
    (4) Upload those three folders (wp-content, wp-admin, wp-inlcudes) and all the files that are in the root of the zip folder to the root of your domain.

Let me know if you have any questions 🙂

Not really no. It is better for archives to extract into a single folder rather than spew straight out.

You don’t have to have /wordpress in the url of your site: http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory#Using_a_pre-existing_subdirectory_install

Thx TCBarrett your way maay have been the more proper one but I never seemed to get it running after making changes in the general section of WP so I did it Patrick Nommensen way. The site is 100% WP so I think I might get away with this..

    thx all.. 🙂

Glad you were able to get it to work weka! 🙂 I’ve never had a problem with extracting all contents of the WordPress folder straight into FileZilla.
