Getting this to work on Custom BuddyPress Profile Page?

    The plugin simply replaces the output of calls to the Private and Public message buttons. Those buttons are called by BP functions. Make sure your custom page includes do_action( 'bp_member_header_actions' );

    Review these pages for the location of that do_action
