# Getting things rolling

 * I’ve been playing around testing things to see what I could get working.
 * Install was pretty easy. Ran into a few glitches with PlugIns, but overcame them.
 * Within a week, I’ve started getting hits from Search Engines. Once I saw those
   coming in, I did a few test searches and can see the site on the first page or
   two of results.
 * This is one of those topics I wish there was no material for, but unfortunately
   it’s far too plentiful.

    When I visit your site (using chrome) I see a message that says that some
   service or whatever wants to know my location. Is this the dark side of public
   safety rearing its head again 😉
 * I’d suggest using a theme which is a bit more newspaper or magazine style to 
   give it a bit more weight.

 * There’s nothing there. A plugin called Counterize might be doing it I guess, 
   or maybe a stats utility called AWStats running on the host.
 * Not sure about the themes yet.

 * And all of a sudden, the hits start rolling. The Bots have been crawling for 
   a week or more, but the search hits are logging today.
