[Resolved] Getting the second language to directly link to a static page?

  • Hello!

First off – thank you so much for this plug-in. I couldn’t believe how easy implementing languages into a site could be.

I’m having a issue though. I have a two languages installed (Danish as default and the option to choose English).

When I click on the danish one it shows the page I’ve selected during the setup. I want to link the English flag to a page I’ve created, which is essentially a translated version of the Danish page.

Is there no way to point the flag-link to a specific page? I’m not really going to be using the post-feature a lot, but mostly just static pages.

Thank you so much for all your help throughout the supportforum – I’ve learned a lot via it, just not this. Keep up the good work 🙂

When using a static front page, you must set one in the reading settings and then simply translate it. Polylang will automatically load the right page in the right language.

That did the trick! Can’t believe it was just that easy. I seem to see the bigger picture of it now. Thank you so much! Great work! 🙂
