# Getting the missing parameter: ‘code’ error

 * As the title suggests, I’m trying to link the Site Kit with my email to integrate
   it into my website. But, it’s throwing the missing parameter: ‘code’ error.

   We have seen this problem in the past caused by a [setting in the Brave browser](https://imgur.com/a/yOlAe6v)
   which is switched on by default causing this error and stopping you from setting
   up Site Kit.
 * Can you share whether you’re using the Brave browser, or maybe attempt set up
   from a Chrome browser incognito window?

 * Thank you so much. The issue was with the Brave browser. I was able to complete
   the setup through Chrome.
