  • If you want to create a listing from a post that was not created with a Formidable form, then unfortunately that isn’t something Formidable can do. Is that what you’re asking?

    Hi,

You can import all posts/custom posts as entries and then you can achieve this. If you already did a form for creating a post/custom post, then you will see meta box (in the edit screen of post) Create entry in Form. If you hit that, it will create an entry in Formidable from that post/custom post. After that, you can manipulate with that post using Formidable.

@jamie, yep, any plan for future development to enable that?

@peter, I see what you mean. But it’s one by one.

If this is possible with a single post, it would be probably not so hard to id it with some custom code or database query as bulk. Did you try to search in helpdesk?
If nothing there, I think any developer familiar with Formidable will be able to this job for you.

Another, available option would be, export all posts/custom posts, then import them with CSV to entries. Not sure if these will update posts (probably not, it will create new posts, so you have to delete old posts.)

Also, if you would like additional assistance with this from the Formidable Pro team, you just need to upgrade your license to one that includes support and then post in our help desk.

If you do upgrade your license, please be aware that our support does not cover custom code, but we would be happy to point you to any relevant examples in our docs.
