# Getting Steam Username

 * I’m using the Super Socializer plugin to allow login for Steam users. Is there
   a way to get the steam login username, instead of the display name (not sure 
   what it’s called). So the actual username they use to login to the steam site.

 * Sorry for the late reply. Preferred username of Steam profile is already being
   saved as WordPress profile username when anyone uses Steam login at your website.
   So, you can get **user_login** property of WordPress user object to use for your
   own purpose as Preferred username of Steam.
