From your WordPress Dashboard:
1) Appearance -> Themes
2) Click the “Install Themes” tab.
3) Click the “Upload” link
4) Use the upload form to upload the Theme from your PC
5) Once the Theme uploads, click “Activate”
6) Your new Theme is now active. Enjoy!
Thanks but here’s the problem, I called GD, they said I have to upload the files into the wordpress folder so I uploaded the theme’s base folder which is named “Fiery” [did not extract the files before uploading] into the WordPress folder so now the path is WordPress/wp-content/fiery but I don’t see a wordpress “dashboard” anywhere or know how to get to it?
First, your Theme needs to be here:
\wp-content\themes\fiery
not here:
\wp-content\fiery
Second, to get to your dashboard, you need to use your web browswer. If your website is http://www.mydomain.tld, go to:
http://www.mydomain.tld/wp-admin/
And login using the username and password you created when you installed WordPress.
Ok, got it, works, thanks for the help! While you’re here, I posted this question in a separate thread a short while back and can’t get an answer for it so far, can you help please by telling me if I can include a skype window in my template? I need to give guitar lessons via skype so I would like to know if this feature can work before wasting all of my time and effort to build the site then find out that it cannot work, help?
Anything that you can embed in a web page, you can embed in WordPress – so, if it is possible to embed Skype, then you can do so in WordPress.
Ok, makes sense, well answered, i will go look into the included youtube embed code, thank you very much!
Please, when your answer is in here. Let is know so the thread can be closed.

Thank you.
Ok, will do from now on, sorry. You can close this thread, thanks.
Hi mike, you started the tread ; you have authority to resolve it
Please mark thread as resolved so that
– others with similar problem can see it as resolved and will read this thread for help if they have similar problem
– people providing help see it as resolved and will not waste time reading this post.
I don’t see an option to mark the thread as being resolved or should I simply state in a post like this that the thread is resolved please?
Look under “About This Topic” in the right-hand sidebar. IIRC, you should see a dropdown for “This topic is:” [resolved/not-resolved]
Done, will do for all future posts, thanks!
