So, with 8 sites on our paid plan, 3 of them get differing errors at different times.

MOSTLY:
Error occurred while updating SpamFireWall local base. Error: PROCESS FILE: WRITE ERROR: FAILED TO INSERT DATA: wp_cleantalk_sfw_temp DB Error: Table ‘websitename.wp_cleantalk_sfw_temp’ doesn’t exist.

So I resync with cloud and refresh and it goes away. You also said “All the changes will be included in the next stable release as well.” when you guys botched the “save settings” matter a version ago.

I thought this was all fixed – the issue I noted above continues to reappear each time I log back in the the affected sites. All settings related and showing RED in the menu.

Are you using the latest 5.165.1 version? If no, please update the plugin:
https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/cleantalk-spam-protect.5.165.1.zip

This version should contain all the fixes related to this issue.

We have fixed the problem.

Please, reinstall the plugin from this link. ( Download link: https://github.com/CleanTalk/wordpress-antispam/releases/download/dev-version/cleantalk-spam-protect.zip )

Here is a guide for you:

1. Go to WordPress Administrator Panel —> Plugins.
2. Find the plugin “Spam Protection by CleanTalk” —> Deactivate.
3. After the automatic page refreshing find the plugin again “Spam Protection by CleanTalk” —> Delete. Confirm “Yes, delete these files”.
4. Download the plugin archive from the link above.
5. Go to Plugins —> Add New —> Upload Plugin.
6. Choose the downloaded archive and press “Install Now”.

This fix will be included in the next stable release on Nov 18.

Hi @alexandergull

Thanks for the download link. I won’t be able to tell if it really did fix things until the next time I login to the sites and after a day or so. That is when the settings issues re-surfaced.

It’s a shame such a reliable plugin has been wonky lately – second time in a couple of months I had to delete and reinstall. Hopefully the future brings more consistent experiences like in the past.
