Support » Fixing WordPress » Getting rid of Social Media in Footer

  • Hi!

I am creating a website for my lab and I see that there are 5 social media “bubbles” at the bottom right of every page. We don’t have any social media so I’d like to get rid of them somehow. Can somebody help me with this?

These “bubbles” are not part of any plugin that I have so maybe this can be fixed on the “Additional CSS” tab but I don’t know how to code in CSS.

    Thanks in advance!

Please provide a link to a page on your site where we can see this. Thanks.

Unfortunately I can’t provide you with a link since the website is not yet for public viewing (maybe next week if my supervisors approve?) but below is a screenshot of what I am talking about. Please pay no mind to the unfinished portions! I am still working on them so they are unprofessional at the moment.

Edit: the link is above because I was unsure if the picture was able to be seen.

So at this point, it’s all hypothetical. If I can’t see the site or know what theme you’re using, I can’t really help.

Looking at the screenshot, they seem to be a “feature” of your theme.

Moreover, it seems to be commercial theme, so I recommend you ask the support folks where you bought it.

Okay I will search for their forums. If it helps I can provide you with as many screenshots as you might need and tell you the template name and where I bought it. But if it doesn’t help you that you can’t actually see the site yet, then I could wait until its public (in a week or two) and come on this forum again? It’s not an urgent problem and if it’s easier for you then I could just wait until then.
