    I am trying to get rid of space between the various postings in my category page at

    Sorry - I'm a newbie - I had someone else set up the webpage and I'm now learning as I edit. This space is driving me bonkers and yet I can't figure it out! I'm hoping it is a simple fix that one of you can help me with.

    I am using the following script for this page:

    * The template for displaying Archive pages.

    * Used to display archive-type pages if nothing more specific matches a query.

    * For example, puts together date-based pages if no date.php file exists.

    * Learn more: http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Hierarchy

    * @package WordPress

    * @subpackage SSX_Theme

    * @since SSX Theme 1.0

    get_header(); ?>

    <section id="body_container">
    <div class="wrapper">
    <?php if (function_exists('z_taxonomy_image_url')) ?>
    <?php if (z_taxonomy_image_url()) { ?>
    <section class="banner_container">
    <?php if (function_exists('z_taxonomy_image_url')) ?>

    <img src="<?php bloginfo('template_directory'); ?>/timthumb.php?src=<?php echo z_taxonomy_image_url(); ?>&w=0&h=0" alt="" />
    <?php }?>
    <section class="content_details">
    <h2><?php printf( __( '%s' ), '<span>' . single_cat_title( '', false ) . '</span>' ); ?></span></h2>
    if(have_posts()):while(have_posts()): the_post(); ?>
    <section class="box <?php if($i%2 == 0){echo 'last';}?>">
    <h3>" title="<?php the_title(); ?>" rel="bookmark"><?php the_title(); ?></h3>
    <?php if ( has_post_thumbnail() ) {
    $varimage = wp_get_attachment_image_src( get_post_thumbnail_id($post->ID), 'large');
    <img src="<?php bloginfo('template_directory'); ?>/timthumb.php?src=<?php echo $varimage[0]; ?>&w=0&h=0" alt="" />
    <?php } ?>

    <div class="post-excerpt">
    <?php the_excerpt(); /* the excerpt is loaded to help avoid duplicate content issues */ ?>
    <?php $i++; endwhile; endif; ?>

    <?php if(function_exists('wp_paginate')) {
    } ?>

    <?php get_footer(); ?>

    There's a css style applied to each item:

    .box {
        float: left;
        min-height: 410px;
        width: 470px;

    So I believe it's the min-height attribute that's causing your problem. If you adjust it, be sure to create a child theme or use a custom css plugin so your changes aren't overwritten by future theme updates.
