    Hi,

I have got an instance within a multisite setup that I am trying to use Monsterinsights to show the reports. The users is needs to show for are in a custom role created using User Role Editor Pro. Everything looks to be set up correctly however the Monsterinsights menu item isn’t coming up and if I try to go directly to admin.php?page=monsterinsights_reports#/ it just redirects to the WordPress dashboard.

Does your plugin not support custom role types?

    Hi there,
It does but just a heads up we have a super simple setting for this in our plugin in the Advanced tab of our settings: https://www.monsterinsights.com/docs/how-to-allow-user-roles-to-access-the-monsterinsights-reports-and-settings

I would recommend using this to do it

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for coming back to me – Thanks for pointing this one out, I did already add my custom role to the setting you have shown on that link, however, it still doesn’t grant me access to the monsterinsights reports screen and as before just loops me back to the WordPress dashboard. There is the overview widget on there though so it suggests the plugin isn’t being totally blocked by the user role just access to the items contained in that menu.
