There is a problem with my site ever since I installed an SSL certificate on my server and switched the whole site to secure. Members keep getting redirected to the Membership options page when trying to view content that they should be entitled to view.

Even I logged on as an administrator am getting redirected to the Member options page when trying to view some of the pages.

The problem happens when someone tries to view a page using a previous address i.e. http://… They should get redirected to the secure page https://… but instead are getting redirected to the Member options page.

Is there anyway to stop this happening?

  • What method are you using for the redirection to https://…?

Im using the plugin WordPress HTTPS, but the redirection to Member Options happens even when the plugin is disabled, for some reason s2member doesn’t think I am allowed access to the pages even though Im logged in as an administrator

OK I managed to fix the issue by forcing a redirect to https in my .htaccess file. Still not sure why s2member was redirecting the http: requests

Yes, that’s what I was going to suggest.

I think the plugin was loading too late, and s2Member had already redirected before the plugin had a chance to take effect.
