getting post titles outside wordpress

Hello there,

i have installed wordpress for a client of mine, yet wordpress ins’t the whole site is just a section containing the blog.

now mi client want the las 4 post titles featured in the main static index. i guess i will have to convert it to php, but have no idea of how to do this.

im not a php expert, so i guess that’s why i cant find a solution. im guessing here, but could it be easier to take it out from the rss than from the database itself?
