# Getting plugins for wordpress.org

 * having trouble being able to get plugins. Do I need to upgrade to paid version
   to be able to access plugins. ? There is no plugin tab on my menu.

 * There is no paid version of WordPress.org 🙂 Unless you are talking about WordPress.
   com?
 * If there is no plugins tab, I assume you are logging in not as the admin. Is 
   this your blog, or did someone else set it up for you?
 * Eg a friend, colleague or a web designer? You will need to ask them to give you
   access to plugins.

 * Can you post a screenshot of your admin area? I will be able to tell you if you
   are admin. You can use a site like Imgur.com to upload the image to.
 * It sounds like you may not be.
