Getting Pixabay to work with other editors

Pixabay Images is a great plugin and in the standard editor it works like a dream. However support for it in other editors is patchy at best and often you get the pixabay button but it fails in someway when selected.

This is a bit of an issue for those of us wanting to use Pixabay and a front end editor, since only a couple of these editors work with Pixabay.

Is there anyway that this issue can be resolved? An example is Eonet Frontend Publisher, is this solely down to the editor developers adjusting their code or is there something that can be done from your side to improve support for Pixabay Images?
