# Getting PHP code to display in comments section

 * I use the SyntaxHighlighter plugin for my posts, but often my commenters will
   post code too. Even though they wrap it with the code tag, the code itself does
   not show up. I assume this is a WP security measure so people don’t try to execute
   malevolent code.
 * Is there a WP plugin that _will_ display PHP verbatim in the comments section?`

 * I’m looking for this too. I see that this forum has a Code button hat applies
   backticks, but my WordPress 2.7.1 does not? Is this possibly a theme issue?
