# Getting past events when using wp_query

 * I believe i did this once in the past but I cant find the code!
 * Something like so:
 *     ```
       $args = array(
          'posts_per_page' => 6,
          'post_type' => 'event',
          'meta_query' => array(
             array(
             'key' => 'scope',
             'value' => 'past'
             )
          ),
       'paged' => $paged
       );
       ```
