I have the same issue just now with the latest version of this plugin.
@osify yes and it really looks bad.. when u can see warning on your profile .. I don’t exactly what is the problem.. but some problem in header reference .. Can anyone solve it ??
Otherwise the plugin update is nice and the admin panel now looks more organised.. which is a very good .. I appreciate the recent changes .. 🙂
I’m getting an error, so deactivated this plug-in, but need it badly as it is EXACTLY what I need to create my simple membership site.

and I’ve now deactivated the plugin and now use ‘ New User Approve’ which is not as good, but does help stop spammers registering.
Hopefully this problem will be solved soon .. If anyone is in contact with the developer, please intimate him/her… 🙂

I’ve not activated the plugin since the error. I’m still using ‘New User Approve’ but I’ve seen a drop in registration, not sure if it’s because of this. I’ve not seen any comments from the developers, perhaps they are busy working on solving the problem. I hope it is resolved soon, because it was a very nice plugin to use. It really did the job.
Hi Lynn.. to check spammers Banhammer and this plugin is a must… Otherwise you can’t easily stop them as they spam in large numbers.
Only thing that I dislike about wordpress is spamming.. there are a lot in numbers and they are automated probably .. I don’t know hoe they do it ..

Thanks for the advise. By approving new users, this helps stop the spamming on my site via registered members, akismet stops all other spam comments etc.

akismet is free, it came as a plug in on my website. It’s the extras that you pay for, which I don’t use. This is the link. http://akismet.com/?return=true

Am building a site, and really like the plugin, seems the perfect solution. Am using wordpress 3.4.2, buddypress 1.6.1. Like above when logged in the following message occurs.
“Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘wds_bp_registration_options_bp_before_member_header’ not found or invalid function name in /var/www/virtual/mysite.com/httpdocs/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 403”.
If there’s a solution, or an upgrade version of the plugin I’d be first in queue. Thanks.

Akismet can be used free of charge, but only for websites that are not for profit, or charities. You won’t be getting any benefit from Akismet unless you get a security key and add it to the akismet configuration page on your site.
I don’t think that Akismet will stop spammers from registering on your buddypress-enabled site.
I would also like a resolution to the wds_bp_registration_options_bp_before_member_header warning problem please.
It looks like the function wds_bp_registration_options_bp_before_member_header is missing in plugins/bp-registration-options/includes/core.php. The offending code is at line 200 and just seems to be used for outputting a custom message at the top of the member profile page. I have commented line 200 out on my site and it seems to work ok after that. No guarantees for your own site, though, and a proper fix by the plugin developers would be best.
