  • I’m having issues here…can someone break this down into simple terms, so that I can get this figurative ball rolling?

    Thanks!

  • Where is your WordPress installed? You should get the DNS of your webhost so that you can input said DNS to your domain name account at register.com.

    Is this a self-hosted blog or a wordpress.com blog?

I set up the WordPress separately. I definitely can get into the DNS info for my website, to which I’d love to have both my site and WP be the same. (WP being the page of course).

My host and domain came from register.com

Which aspects of the DNS would I need to change?

    Thanks!

Since you’ve got both your domain name and webhosting from register.com, then it would be better to consult with them. Generally, you go to your webhosting account and open it up and look up the DNS, then you go to your domain name name account and input the DNS there. If you do not know the process, for sure with both domain name and webhost accouts with them, register.com tech can assist much more easily.

You shouldn’t need to change any DNS setting. Just use an .htaccess redirect. Or have a look at http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory. I think it covers your situation.

Esmi, the link isn’t showing any content, just the title….is that the correct link? I’m looking foward to seeing it. 🙂
