    Hi,

I’m trying to mimic the example bento homepage & have the image in the background snap to the top of the website, so it’s underneath the menu: https://satoristudio.net/bento/

I’m editing the homepage & using the suggested page builder set up, I’ve found similar widgets that create the same picture with a header & call to action buttons, but I can’t get it to snap underneath the menu.

Am I adding it in the wrong place?

Customising the static homepage (instead of editing) also doesn’t have this option of a picture snapping underneath the menu. It doesn’t let you edit the header text (that at the moment says ‘home’) over the front page: header image, so I know I’m in the wrong place by ‘customising’ the home page.

Painfully aware I shouldn’t have started a complete theme change at 9pm, but there you go.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you 🙂

    Hey @crimsonamaryllis

    thank you for choosing Bento!

If I understood the setup correctly, the extended page header might be the setting you need – please take a look at this part of the theme manual. In short, if you activate the “Extended page header” option and add a featured image to the page, the header will contain a full-width image.

In case you’re after placing the menu on top of the header image, please check out the “Transparent website header” option in the “Page Header Settings” box while in the editor mode for a particular page. Let me know if you had something else in mind with this one!

    Sincerely,
    Andrii / Satori Studio

    Hi,

That’s brilliant, thank you. That’s done it.

    Cheers
