[Resolved] Getting just the side bar?

  • I am wondering if there is a way to get just a side bar on a page – nothing else.

    I want to use the file_get_contents() on another site and pull in the contents from my left column on my site but I am not even sure where to start.

    I do not need code or anything – just a little pointing in the right direction

    Thanks
    Scott

    Perhaps integrating WordPress with your web site is what you need?

    Thanks – this MAY help. I am trying to get it on a different domain on a different hosting account.

    Anyway – I may be able to use this exact stuff to create a page on the same domain as my blog that shows what I want that I can then pull into the other site.

    Thanks

    Perfect – Just for the record for anyone else that wants this…

    I just create a page called grabnav.php – put it in my WP directory. All that is in it is

    <?php
    require(‘wp-blog-header.php’);
    get_sidebar(); // just got this from my theme file
    ?>

    Then I can do file_get_contents(‘http://www.domain.com/grabnav.php’);
