• All my plug-ins are updated.

My theme does not need an update.

I tried logging in on different browsers and that did not make a difference.

Yesterday evening wordpress was working perfectly fine. Today all of a sudden I can’t upload an image. I even used an image compressor to see if the image could be made smaller and be able to upload to my wordpress and that did not work.

I attempted at altering the function.php and that did not work.

What can I do? Please help me!

first off, don’t tweak the functions.php file! it can break your site in so many ways.

deactivate all of your plugins and revert back to the default wordpress theme. clear your browser cache and try uploading an image. if the problem has gone away then you now know that the problem is either your theme or a plugin conflict.

if the image upload works now that your plugins are deactivated and your theme is the default, start reactivating things one by one until the problem reappears and then when it does you know what’s causing it.

    Hi Jack:

    Thank you for your help.

I tried each of those things, one by one, and I’m still getting an error when uploading images.

I’ve also tried to use the basic image uploader as well.

Do you have any other ideas as to what is wrong?

I cleared cache, I deactivated the plug ins (all of them), I used a default WP theme.

I don’t know what else to do 🙁
