I am blogging while on a multi-week bike trip with no laptop – everything has to happen on a phone. I would like to include google photo albums in my blog using photonic. I use the wordpress android app to make blog entries. I can enter the shortcode for the gallery, and am looking for a good way to determine the album id. Currently I have a draft blog entry with the shortcode [photonic_helper type=’google’] which I can view to see the album IDs. Is there a better way?

How about using Chrome on Android and trying to create a post from there? I have tested this on a Pixel 3XL and it seems to go through without any issues. If you use a browser you are presented with Photonic’s interactive shortcode builder and that automatically pulls up all the albums you have created.

Thanks for the quick response. Your approach will generally work. I prefer the native app as I can key the text in for a post with no network connectivity, but to actually post and to upload pictures I eventually need to be connected, so for that part I could edit within Chrome.

    Thank you.
