I have installed WordPress in a subdirectory and am using it more like a CMS. On the actual site, I pull the WordPress posts out and display them.
The problem I’m having is on one of the pages, I have it set up to just display a thumbnail and the title of the post. When you click on the link, it is supposed to take you to a page that has the full size image, the full post contents, and a comment form.
But what it does is take you to a page that shows just the thumbnail and title still, along with the comment form. I’m trying to figure out how to get it to show everything.
I believe the problem is since I’m using a custom solution, I’m not using the normal set up of having a home page, category page, and single post page. So when you click on the link it takes you to the same url you were just on, but it just has the post information attached on it (?p=something). So the formatting and everything is still coming from the same page. The page for all this is: http://www.starmoose.com/work.php.
So is there an easy way to get it to link to a separate page that has the full post? Thanks.
