Used Vidrack on our site, we just launched a site redesign running 4.5.2, installed Vidrack plugin on new site, tried to Activate and got the following error:

“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Mobile_Detect in /home4/gormanco/public_html/gormanrecruiting/wp-content/plugins/video-capture/inc/class.mobile-detect.php on line 29″

Known issue? New issue? Tried to delete/reinstall, same error.

Hey could you please send me a link to the website that is having issues?

Also could you please try un-installing and reinstalling the plugin and let me know if that helps?

If those issues don’t work it could be a plugin or theme conflict. You can try deactivating and reactivating the plugins and see if that works.

Let me know the results and we’ll work it out.

    Thanks

Hey Ryan, thanks for the timely response!

    1. gormanrecruiting.com

    2. tried un-installing and reinstalling the plugin and received the same error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Mobile_Detect in /home4/gormanco/public_html/gormanrecruiting/wp-content/plugins/video-capture/inc/class.mobile-detect.php on line 29

    3. I can screen grab the plug-ins list and email them to you if that might help identifying any known conflicts.

    Thanks.

Hey thanks for the information Im going to send this to our developer to have a look.

The only solution might be to embed our web-app available at http://vidrack.me

You can see how to embed it at http://vidrack.com/embed

Unfortunately due to the nature of WordPress sometimes plugin and theme conflicts can get pretty complicated to resolve.

Please do send a list of plugins and theme.

    Thanks

Could you please send me an email at info@vidrack.com? I have your contact and can get more information from you? We may need login info to your site for further diagnosis and testing.

    Thanks
