• After updating to 4.6 this morning/afternoon I’m getting the message (pasted below) on all posts – after clicking into a specific blog (and in preview from dashboard, though right now it’s not letting me get a preview either). Things appear to be okay until clicking into the posts. Featured images are showing up, just no text, and no social media sharing buttons (thankfully?) available.

Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in /home2/simple/public_html/online/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3511

I did the cookies/cache clearing and updated the plug-ins that were guaranteed compatible with 4.6. Any help would be appreciated!

Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Sixteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Okay, so this thing, here:
    AdRotate Professional
Said that it couldn’t be reactivated because:

    it triggered a fatal error.
atal error: Cannot redeclare adrotate_dashboard() (previously declared in /home2/simple/public_html/online/wp-content/plugins/adrotate/adrotate.php:94) in /home2/simple/public_html/online/wp-content/plugins/adrotate-pro/adrotate.php on line 148

Ok, since that is a commercial plugin, we ask that you please go to their official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best.

    https://ajdg.solutions/forums/forum/adrotate-for-wordpress/

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working properly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.
