   “
   We’ve detected an issue on your IAB TC string on one or more of your sites or
   apps. These errors may affect your ability to serve ads to European users. A
   detailed report is available for you on the EU user consent page.” It’s error

 * Hi Harley,
 * thanks for reaching out.
 * Please check our [TCF manual](https://wpadvancedads.com/manual/tcf-consent-wordpress/)
   and let me know if you have set up every of your ads according to the manual,
   including AdSense and Auto ads.
 * If you did and the issues persist after a few days then please let me know your
   URL so that I can check.
 * Thanks,
    Thomas

 * I went through the manual and selected the following options in the Privacy section.

   I checked “Show ads only to users who give their permission to cookies and ads.”
   In the consent method right under it, I selected “Cookie – Manual” And I ticked“
   Show non-personalized AdSense ads until consent is given.” I don’t use Quantcast
   Choices Please tell me if it’s okay.

 * Hi Harley
 * thanks for your feedback.
 * Which solution are you using to gather the consent?
 * You can find a few and how to integrate them with the cookie option in [this manual](https://wpadvancedads.com/manual/ad-cookie-consent/).
 * Back to your original issue: you received a warning from AdSense about an issue
   with TCF. Our “Cookie” consent integration is not the same. If you keep getting
   the TCF warning then you might need to check where the TCF signal is coming from.
   You mentioned that you are not using Quantcast Choices, but somehow AdSense seems
   to believe that you use something similar and as long as they see that signal,
   they will warn about it.
 * Best regards,
    Thomas

 * I just don’t understand what to do with it. Nothing seems to be clear.
    I use
   Cookie Notice for GDPR & CCPA By dFactory.

 * Hi Harley,
 * I understand that this is tough for non-technical users.
 * The first issue here is that Google believes that there is a TCF string on your
   site while you did not set one up or don’t know where it is coming from. Advanced
   Ads doesn’t do that so I am not able to help to resolve that one.
 * There should be a link in your AdSense account to the error messages per day.
   Are they decreasing or increasing? If they are decreasing, maybe that signal
   is gone and we can ignore that part.
 * You can find the cookie name and value for Cookie Notice in [this table](https://wpadvancedads.com/manual/ad-cookie-consent/#Integrating_with_other_plugins).
   Use in our Privacy module, they should prevent ads managed with Advanced Ads
   from showing until consent is given. If you set it up like this and it doesn’t
   work then please send me a link to your site where I can see it in action.
 * Thanks,
    Thomas

 * Looks like the issue is with Cookie Notice for GDPR & CCPA
    By dFactory. The
   other site which doesn’t have any cookie plugin (because it’s for indian visitors)
   shows no error. What could be causing it/

 * Maybe they are sending a TCF signal. Unfortunately, I cannot say if they have
   that option.

 * Can you suggest a cookie notice plugin that won’t cause such issues?

 * I am not sure what went wrong with this plugin or if the issue might have been
   caused by something else. In general, all the plugins listed on our site worked
   at some point.

 * The numbers are only going up. I just don’t know what to do. I even removed the
   plugin, but it isn’t helping

 * Hi Harley,
 * I can only help you when you use Advanced Ads to manage all your ads, enabled
   the TCF integration in the plugin, and send me a link to your site so that I
   can check if everything looks correct.

 * Hi. I implemented the settings mentioned in the manual and I’m yet to see any
   changes. But the issue is that when I checked in the setting, the ads for another
   network that I am using (not adsense) just disappeared. What could be causing
   it?

 * Hi Harley,
 * when you enable the TCF integration in Advanced Ads, all ads that could include
   code are blocked until consent is given.
 * You can opt out individual ads from consent checks using the “Ignore general
   Privacy settings” option on the ad edit screen.
 * Best regards,
    Thomas
