# Getting Errors when I install

 * Hello,
 * I have installed wordpress 4 or 5 times now with no problems. However, I’m helping
   my dad install wordpress for his website and we keep getting an error. It says:
 * > WordPress
   > To allow use of this page to automatically repair database problems, please
   > add the following line to your wp-config.php file. Once this line is added 
   > to your config, reload this page.
   >  define(‘WP_ALLOW_REPAIR’, true);
 * We did this and just got more errors so I uninstalled it and tried again, but
   got the same error. Where do I even start to figure this out?

 * After we install and click on the link they refer us too. I believe it’s the 
   wp-admin link.

 * So the install runs, it makes the wp-config.php file for you, and get this link:
   [http://bedtimetonight.com/temp3/wp-admin/](http://bedtimetonight.com/temp3/wp-admin/)
 * Which is
 * > One or more database tables are unavailable. The database may need to be repaired.
 * Go to the database and verify that there are tables there?

 * Well, I’m helping my father and he said he bought the domain. Purchased hosting
   and they helped him point the domain and then they told him where to upload files.
   He basically wrote a homepage in html….that’s it. I’m not sure where in that 
   process he could have created a database. He has no knowledge of it.

 * Okay, you need to make the database somewhere. Check his hosting package. You
   should have sme back end control panel (cPanel, plesk or whatever else they have).
   But you need the database 🙂

 * As per the link you provided, your database need to get fixed…
 * add this line to your config.php
 * define(‘WP_ALLOW_REPAIR’, true);
 * WordPress prob. can fix this issue for you automaticaly. ;o)

 * we did that and it did not change anything. they just listed all the errors afterwards.
   Then we uninstalled and tried to install again, but came across the same problem.
   We are in contact with his host and they are trying to help, but are getting 
   the same error. Hopefully they can help figure it out.
