# Getting error message

 * Hi everyone:
    I am getting an error (Http 500 error) after the installation steps.
   I am not very tech savvy please assist if you can. This is what I did:
 * 1. Added new plugin.
    2. Went to cpanel, file manager, upload Geoip file, extract
   files to get geoip.dat 3. Went back to wordpress, activated plugin. 4. Click 
   on settings to go to plugin – error message.
 * Where could I be going wrong?

 * That is a strange error code. You will need access to your PHP error logfile 
   for this to see what error it gives.
 * Perhaps you can access the logfiles via cpanel or the cpanel file manager this
   depends on your hosting company.
