Getting critical error after updating to version 20.3

    After updating to the latest version 20.3, the site seemed fine. Then later an error occurred. Critical error notification popped up. The seo block header is all messed up. Not showing anything. Noticed this same thing happening every once in a while with new updates. I think this will be my final straw with this plugin. Need to find something else more reliable and stable.

    Just fyi, my site was absolutely fine before updating the plugin.

    We’ve seen a few instances of users running into a (fatal) error Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method WPSEO_HelpScout::is_beacon_page() – that method was deprecated in 20.3. This means that if users are using old versions of any of our add-ons, it might trigger this. A solution would be to update the add-ons to their latest versions and then reactivate Yoast SEO.

    If you have any other Yoast plugin that has not been updated in a while, kindly update them and you’ll be good to go.
