Getting blog_id of an author of a post

    Hello, I am currently running a multisite and I have created a custom post type, whose table will be unique, that is, other sites that post the post with this post type will store it into the same table. To categorize, I would like to use blog_id of an author of a post.

    Can anyone suggest to me smart ways to achieve this?

    That’s not a custom post type, then, it’s just a separate data table.

    Are you trying to make something special shared with all sites on the network? I don’t see why ‘multisite’ matters really.
