Getting and linking to recent posts from outside of blog

    Hello,

    I have a blog at let’s say, abc.com/blog while my main page is
    abc.com. However, I want to be able to automatically get the links (with title as anchor text) from the 3 most recent (and if possible, most popular) blog posts on abc.com which will link to abc.com/blog/2010/09……blahblah…..

    What do I need to do get this done ?

    abc.com itself is written in php
