    Hello

I am new to using duplicator and a little new to XAMPP. I normally host sites I am working on within my web-dev server but this site is massive so I thought I’d locally host it to complete the work, as the hosting provider of the clients current site couldn’t give me access to the server I’ve taken a copy of the site using duplicator and downloaded the installer.php file as well as the package then dropped them into the htdocs folder within my XAMPP install.

Both apache and mysql services are started and working correctly, I’ve actually installed a standard WP install to make sure this is working correctly at http://localhost/wordpress which has worked fine.

Whenever I navigate to http://localhost/installer.php I get the error below, can anyone point me in the right direction.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in D:\xampp\htdocs\installer.php on line 729

    Thanks

It looks like something might be wrong with your installer file… It may possibly be corrupted or wasn’t built correctly… Try to recreate the package and installer again. If the issue continues then go ahead and submit a support ticket…

    Cheers~
