Getting “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.” with 1.9.30

Hello!
After updating to 1.9.30, whenever I try to upload an image via post editor, I get the following error:
“An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.”
However, if I reload the page, the image is in the Media Library, so it looks like the upload process itself is working OK. If I disable Postie, everything works great.
I am using WP version 5.1.
