It seems that this bug is hitting our European and Asian friends. It has been filed in our Github repo, and is being actively tracked here: https://github.com/Medium/medium-wordpress-plugin/issues/60.
I will mark this as resolved once the Github issue is resolved.

If you upgrade to the latest version of the plugin, version 1.2, this will be fixed now. The backend has also been fixed to properly account for timezones correctly.

This one is already installed on my system.
Same here. Using v. 1.2.1. and still experiencing same issue.

The latest release of the plugin, 1.2.2, includes a fix for this issue. Please upgrade at your earliest convenience.
