[Resolved] Getting a archive.php page with all categories but one

  • Hi folks.
Is it possible to link to an archive page that displays all categories except one?
I need to exclude category 6 from a link, I tried with ?cat=-6, but it did not work.
    Any suggestions?
    Cheers,
    Davide

  • 1. archive.php is NOT an archive “Page” – it is the template file to display monthly and category archives view.

    2. You have to modify the Loop in it to exclude a category. See the Codex.

I thought there was a way to make a direct link call, but no prob, I’ll go edit the template code.
    Cheers,
    Davide
